3D!!!!

I'm sitting here getting excited about buying New Moon on DVD tomorrow, deciding whether to buy the special edition 3D cover. The last time I bought something with one of those scratchy 3D covers was East 17's Up All Night, good times.
I was thinking about how much I love stuff in 3D, so much so I dressed as a 3D lady for Halloween and we made our Sugar Paper #3 cover 3D (with how to make a 3D picture and glasses inside):
Now 3D is all the rage at the cinema (I have yet to see Tim Burton's Alice... I am unsure if I want to). I saw Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D, I must admit I am not a big fan of all this 3D cinema business, I mean if everyone in the cinema looked like the picture above I would be all over it like a bad rash.
I want to attempt to make 3D crafts. I'm sure if you got some green/red yarn and knitted it, it would give a slight 3D impression. I cannot knit so will have to think about other ways to make this happen, perhaps double stitching with red/green thread?! for now I will start with a pom pom and see what that looks like.....
Right after I have watched the New Moon extras!

Letter From Me To....

STOP THE PRESS!!!!I made a (ridiculously short) zine, where I write letters to celebrities. Number one sees me writing to Courtney Love, Jared Leto, Fearne Cotton, Robert Pattinson, Brendon Urie and a couple of others.
It's alright.
ALSO, did anyone see that Coronation Street Jeremy Kyle mash up yesterday?!? HA!

I know....

I said no more Twilight related posts until like 2010, but I forgot about this picture the other day.
It's a nice bit of spot the difference:
Also, I made emo top trumps last year, a few months later Rocksound made some, I made Twilight top trumps the other week, NOW Sugar magazine has made them, god I am such a trendsetter!

NEW SWOOOOOOOOOOOOON...

OK, so I promise this is the last time I write a Twilight heavy blog (well until at least next year!). I'm not sure what happened or when it did, the turning point, the point I thought it was OK to be 25 and writing Twilight fan fic, the point when looking at the pile of stuff on your bed and noticing it has a particular theme,
exhibit A:
I know my trip to America somewhat fueled it, me and Nickie deciding it to definitely be or new thing to get obsessed over,
exhibit Bexhibit C:
(I still don't know why we didn't take advantage of all that merch FOOLS!).
OK so anyway as you may have heard "Twilight 2" came out the other week, me and a bunch of other 20somethingfeministswhoshouldknowbetter got tickets for a midnight showing, now just going to the cinema at midnight is exciting enough. A little too exciting for me and I got carried away, making Twilight Top Trumps, vxgxn Twilight gingerbreads and special tees for Kandy,
exhibit D:
I think I was so excited I couldn't really remember what the film was like, so I went to see it the next day. I have seen it three times in total, and must say it's a complete lolfest.
I will admit it's not as exciting as the trailer, that made me wet my pants, but I still enjoyed it.
Buffed Jacob made me feel a little ill, not keen on the Cullen's new contacts and why did it seem that everyone was on screen for a total of 1minute?!
I quite liked the 'months' scene, thought the Bella/Jacob rain scene lasted too long and that the Alice jumping over the stairwell scene is the worst thing in film history. Volturi not scary enough, more Edward in his grey tee less of the old man suit, Carlisle been down Next for his dad outfits?
And so the big question, are you Team Edward, or Team Jacob? well seeing as I am incredibly shallow, I decide teams based on who I fancy, so that's Team Edward, plus I'm a sucker for a boy full of woe. But in all honesty I probs would tell Eddie to MTFU. Jacobs makes me a bit sick, I would totez love to run with the wolves, they have more fun, but Jacob would just want to do me aaaaaall the time, plus I have this thing where I think I am far superior to younger boys.
I think we had a TE switch to a TJ, but mostly Team Charlie.
I am definitely not Team Bella, get a personality, jeez.
And so I come to the end of another pointless (Twilight) post, but I promise this is the end (now there's a link to this blog on the Bust site I wouldn't want a bunch of angryfeminists shouting at me through blogger, imagine!......
Unless i get the Twilight or New Moon board game for Christmas!!

OK, I think I may have taken it a little too far now...

So I took a leisurely stroll to the library to return my books (for anyone who cares they were Anglea Carter- Several Percetions and Jonathan Coe- The Closed Circle (TCC>TRC)) when something caught y eye on the 'just in' shelf. I went over picked it up and thought, 'hey what the heck, I'll take it out if only for the lolfactor', this is the book:Now I got to the counter and the conversation went something like this
Librarian" Oh, it's popular this isn't it"
me " yes"
"oh, do you like him, Robert Pattinson?"
"yeah?!?"
"I would too if I was 15 tears younger"
Then to hide my embarrassment that she as probably only 6-8 years older than me, and therefore in the same age bracket, I muttered something about me getting it because it looks like an easy read. I was, for once, grateful to be mistaken for a 15 year old, i then scurried off to B&M.

Oh and for the record, I probs wont even read the Taylor 'teeth' Lautner half.

THE SHAME!

an aMAZEing tale of how vampires are taking over

I am pretty certain everyone must have noticed how the likes of Twilight and True Blood are infiltrating , well everything, from the high street to the charts (yes Shakira I'm talking bout you and your lame She Wolf) but who knew it would take over mazes!
I present to you (thanks for the heads up Nickie) a Twilight inspired maize maze:

I know right, it's completely aMAZEing. I would totally get lost in TEAM EDWARDS hair!
I have been swept up by the high streets vamped up fashion, even Topshop is it at, I managed to purchase myself this riot boy stripe mixed with 90s fang logo tee form the H&M:

I noticed, on my Sunday browse around North City shopping centre that even cheap shop Select have cashed in on this, with black and white stripe tee with the word REBEL in red blood drip font on the front, the name of this hot and happening tee....HOXTON GIRL!!! I kid you not.
Now all I need is Claire's to pull their finger out and get loads of fangtastic jewelry I can waste my money on!

hey you! happy birthday, I'm gonna swoon for moon.

A brief round-up.
Last week I went to see AU, where I learnt two things, 1- my jeans may have shrunk, they don't really fit me anymore, Nickie says they bear an uncanny resemblance to jeggings, no good.
2-When someone does eventually make an indie film of my life I would quite like AU to do the score.
The week before this I attended a 50th birthday party of my mum's friend, I made the cake, it looked like this:

It was also Paul's birthday, I made him a case for his Mac Book that I cleverly called Big Mac:
I have also been making tutus and other such 'things' but that's another, dull story.
I am now going to continue to get overexcited watching the full New Moon trailer, good times! I will I wait til November though arrhghghgg!!!

Breaking Down....

So here it is, my first novella, all finished!
For anyone ho is interested it is my own fourth instalment to the Twilight saga, feeling that the original fourth book well was a little rubbish, disappointing an anti climatic and frankly a waste of a few days of my life it took to read. Mine is much better, buy it here:
